At approximately 7:45 p.m. on April 1, police were dispatched to the report of an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 7:30 p.m., the female victim was walking in the area when the unknown suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The victim turned around and yelled at the suspect, who fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a light brown skinned male, with a skinny to medium build, wearing a black sweatshirt and black or blue pants. The investigation is ongoing.

PUBLIC MASTURBATION AND INDECENT EXPOSURE
Wilson Boulevard at N. Oakland Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 6, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was seated at an outdoor table when the male suspect approached, sat down near her and allegedly began touching himself inappropriately. The victim moved away from the suspect, who then exposed his genitals and continued touching himself inappropriately. Arriving officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. The suspect, 36, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure: 3+ Offense in 10 Years and Public Masturbation.

He was held on no bond.

At approximately 6:31 p.m. on March 9, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 3:00 p.m. on March 7, the victim was receiving a massage when she was allegedly inappropriately touched by the suspect. Following an investigation by the Special Victims’ Unit, a warrant for Assault and Battery was obtained for the suspect, 60, of Washington D.C.

At approximately 3:50 a.m. on March 28, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence, when she observed an unknown male suspect open the door and enter the residence. The victim screamed and the suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a male, with a medium build, wearing a light colored jacket with fur hood, dark hoodie, black hat, black facemask and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred on March 29, at approximately 6:00 a.m.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
1400 block of S. Joyce Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 2:04 p.m. on March 30, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. The reporting party advised dispatch that the known male suspect was allegedly intoxicated and acting disorderly inside a residence. Arriving officers located the partially undressed suspect in the hallway of the apartment building. The suspect repeatedly ignored the lawful commands of officers to stop and get on the ground and continued to act aggressively and advance towards them. An officer deployed OC Spray, which had little effect on the suspect and he continued to advance towards officers. A second officer then deployed their taser, enabling the officers to place the combative suspect into custody. The suspect was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. The suspect, 40, of Arlington, VA, was charged with Drunk in Public, Obstruction of Justice and Indecent Exposure.

ABDUCTION WITH THE INTENT TO DEFILE
18th Street S. at S. Ives, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 7:23 p.m. on February 11, police were dispatched to the report of an assault that just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when she heard someone behind her. The victim turned and confronted the suspect who allegedly knocked her to the ground, brandished a knife and assaulted the victim. A witness yelled at the suspect, causing him to flee the scene on foot. Responding officers located an individual matching the suspect description and he was later positively identified. The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect, 25, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Abduction with the Intent to Defile and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was held without bail.

At approximately 3:07 p.m. on February 13, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1:30 p.m. on February 13, the victim was inside her residence when she observed an unknown suspect rummaging through items. Upon noticing the house was occupied, the suspect fled. Nothing was reported missing from the residence. The suspect is described as a younger black male, approximately 6’0”, with a thin build, wearing a maroon balaclava, dark clothing and long sleeves. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 2:17 p.m. on January 2, police were dispatched to the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect had been asked to leave a business earlier in the day by management. The suspect later began acting disorderly inside the business and entered the women’s restroom, where officers located him exposing himself in the sauna. He was taken into custody without incident. The suspect, 28, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Trespassing, Indecent Exposure, Drunk in Public and Public Masturbation.

As she turned around, the suspect grabbed her buttocks and ran away. She described the suspect as a white male, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, possibly Hispanic or Italian, with dark features, straight, dark, short hair, wearing a black hoodie and light pants. This incident occurred on January 6, at approximately 12:00 p.m.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY
4300 block of 17th Street N., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 4:21 p.m. on January 12, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that a witness observed the male suspect enter a home under construction. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident as he exited the residence. While investigating the incident, it was determined the individual was a suspect in an earlier assault and battery in which he allegedly inappropriately touched a female victim at the intersection of 16th Street N. and Glebe Road. The suspect, 21, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry, Assault and Battery and Identity Theft. He was held on no bond.

This incident occurred on January 13, at approximately 2:45 p.m.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY
2200 block of 26th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 5:15 p.m. on January 15, police were dispatched to the report of a late breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 3:00 p.m., the female resident heard noise originating from a bedroom and upon investigating, observed an open window and items moved around. No items were reported stolen. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY
2900 block of 6th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on January 17, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard noise and allegedly observed the unknown male suspect inside. Upon noticing the victim, the suspect fled the residence. Arriving officers located the suspect in the area and he was positively identified.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect had allegedly entered a second residence and stolen items of value. The suspect, 24, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Burglary. The suspect was also determined to be wanted out of Falls Church for Petit Larceny. He was held on no bond.

BURGLARY
3000 block of 7th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:59 p.m. on January 17, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was notified of an open door at her residence. Upon responding to the residence, the victim noticed that an unknown suspect had gained entry to the residence, tampered with items and stolen items of value. While on scene investigating, officers investigating a separate burglary in the area found the suspect to be in possession of items allegedly stolen from this residence. The suspect, 24, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny. He was held on no bond.

ROBBERY
1100 block of N. Quincy Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 7:35 p.m. on January 23, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was walking to the door of her residence when two unknown suspects approached her from behind. The suspects knocked her to the ground and assaulted her before stealing her purse and fleeing the scene. A canvas of the area by responding officers returned with negative results. The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries. Suspect One is described as a black male, approximately 6’0” tall, 220 lbs, scruffy facial hair and wearing dark clothing. Suspect two is described as a black male wearing a dark colored hoodie. The investigation is ongoing.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard the door handle moving and observed the suspect holding a flashlight outside. The victim screamed, prompting the suspect to flee prior to police arrival. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that entry was forced to another portion of the residence, causing damage. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 3, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard noise coming from the door and observed the unknown suspect attempting to gain entry unsuccessfully. The victim yelled and the suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a male with olive skin and black hair. The investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred at an elementary or secondary school on December 4 at 12:00 p.m.

ROBBERY
Pershing Drive at N. Glebe Road, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 11:32 p.m. on December 5, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 7:55 p.m. on December 4, the victim was at a bus stop in the area, when two male suspects approached her and grabbed her bag. A brief struggle ensued over the bag before one suspect took it. Both suspects fled on foot. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s, 5’5”-5’6”, with brown eyes and black hair, wearing a black jacket, black hat and black pants. Suspect Two is described as  Hispanic male in his late 20’s, with brown eyes, black hair and wearing a tan snowsuit style outfit. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. on December 21, police were dispatched to the late report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 6:30 a.m. on December 5, the female victim was waiting at a bus stop when she was approached by two unknown male suspects. The suspects forced her to the ground, produced a firearm and stole her personal property. Both suspects are described as males with brown skin, 5’8” – 5’10” tall with a skinny build and curly black hair. Both were wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. Upon arrival, it was determined that three juveniles were walking in the area when the suspect allegedly began to follow them. The suspect then approached the female victim from behind, grabbed her buttocks and placed his hands around her, pulling towards him. The victim pushed the suspect away and yelled for help. The suspect fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival and a canvas of the area returned with negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, 30 – 40 years old, 5’7” – 5’9” tall with a lanky build. He has dark hair, a dark brown goatee with highlights of gray and stubble around the cheeks. He was wearing a tan hoodie and baggy, light blue jeans at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 5:28 p.m. on November 11, an officer on patrol was flagged down by an individual requesting assistance. The investigation determined that the victim was walking in the area when she was approached from behind by two suspects. The female suspect demanded her belongings and cell phone, while the male suspect brandished a firearm. The suspects fled the area with the victim’s belongings prior to police arrival and the victim ran to seek assistance. The victim was not injured. Suspect One is described as a white female, with a skinny build, brown hair, wearing a pink shirt, a dark colored vest and dark pants. Suspect Two is described as a heavy set white male, wearing a black vest, white shirt, white hat and jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 5:37 p.m. on November 18, police were dispatched to the late report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 3:45 p.m. and 3:50 p.m., the victim was approached by the unknown male suspect, who reached around her and grabbed her buttocks. When the victim turned towards the suspect, he fled on foot. The suspect is described as a male, 5’11”-6’0”, wearing a white shirt and dark vest, with a deep voice. The investigation is ongoing.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect was in a ridesharing service vehicle when he began acting irate. At the conclusion of the trip, the suspect exited the vehicle and began walking away, however he re-approached the vehicle and exposed himself to the driver. The suspect continued acting disorderly and threw himself against the vehicle, causing damage. The suspect fled the area on foot, prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, 5’6”-5’7”, in his mid 20’s, with short curly hair styled in a fade or mohawk, wearing a black sweatshirt and dark pants. Josue Sierra Lopez, 31, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure and Drunk in Public.

Matthew Zolkover, 35, of Ashburn, Va., was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice, Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Public Masturbation. He was held on no bond.
