This incident occurred on August 4, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

This incident occurred on August 6, at approximately 12:00 a.m.

OBJECT SEXUAL PENETRATION
1600 block of 10th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 7, at approximately 3:30 p.m.

SEXUAL BATTERY
Wilson Boulevard at N. Pollard Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 3:59 p.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the report of an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that approximately 10-15 minutes prior, the victim was walking in the area when the male suspect approached her from behind. The victim began walking in the opposite direction, at which point the suspect began to chase her. The suspect then moved towards the victim and smacked her buttocks, then fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid 30’s, with a slim build, approximately 5’8”, clean shaven, with an almost buzzed haircut, wearing a brown t-shirt and eyeglasses. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
3700 block of N. Delaware Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 11, at approximately 1:20 p.m.

BURGLARY
4800 block of 14th Street N., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 11:49 a.m. on August 12, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 11:30 a.m., an unknown male suspect knocked on the door to the residence. When the victim did not answer the door, the suspect walked around the house looking into windows, then forced entry to the residence. The victim ran into a room and closed the door, however, the suspect entered the room and told her to get in the closet. The suspect subsequently stole an item of value from the residence and fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s, 5’9”-5’11”, 170-200 lbs., wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans or pants, eye glasses, and a light blue mask or neck gaiter covering his face. Arriving officers canvassed the area and a K9 track yielded negative results. The investigation is ongoing.

RAPE
800 block of S. Frederick Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 13, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

PUBLIC MASTURBATION AND INDECENT EXPOSURE
Wilson Boulevard at N. Lynn Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:37 p.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim observed the suspect in an alley adjacent to a business allegedly exposing himself and masturbating. Arriving officers observed the suspect exposing himself and took him into custody without incident. The suspect, 38, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure and released on a summons.

Taylor Street and 8th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 14, at approximately 11:02 p.m.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
15th Street S. and S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 17, at approximately 2:17 a.m.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC (SIGNIFICANT)
3100 block of Lee Highway, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 8:52 p.m. on August 18, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure after the Emergency Communications Center received numerous calls about a naked male shouting in and around a business in the 3300 block of Lee Highway. Responding officers located the subject, who was carrying a knife and walking in the roadway in the 3100 block of Lee Highway. The officers made contact with the subject and provided lawful commands to drop the weapon and get on the ground. The subject dropped the knife but remained confrontational and failed to comply with the officer’s commands. An officer deployed his taser which was ineffective. A second taser was deployed, allowing the subject to be taken into custody without further incident. The subject was transported by medics to an area hospital for evaluation. A summons for Drunk in Public was issued.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
3400 block of Columbia Pike, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 9:57 p.m. on August 18, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. As the officer arrived on scene, they observed the male suspect outside of a business with his pants down, exposing himself, and took him into custody without incident. The suspect, 68, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure.

PEEPING
2700 block of S. Veitch Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 10:40 p.m. on August 18, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim observed the male suspect outside the door to her residence from a gated balcony area. As she opened the door, the suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6’0”, with an athletic build, 180-200 lbs., wearing a white and orange hoodie with the hood up. The investigation is ongoing.

SEXUAL BATTERY
600 block of 25th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 20, at approximately 12:42 p.m.

ROBBERY
4400 block of 10th Road N., Arlington, Virginia
On August 23, the Telephone Reporting Unit spoke with a victim reporting identity theft. The victim reported that on July 28, she was inside of her parked vehicle when she was approached by three suspects who surrounded her vehicle. The suspects attempted to engage her in conversation, then reached into the open window and stole her purse. The suspects are described as White teenage males, wearing white shirts. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY
2700 block of Richmond Highway, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 12:17 a.m. on August 23, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that the known suspect and victim had returned to their hotel room when the suspect began going through the victim’s belongings. A verbal dispute ensued and the suspect grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground. He then stole her car keys and items of value and fled in her vehicle prior to police arrival. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’11”-6’1”, 140-150 lbs., with light brown eyes and long blonde dreadlocks. The investigation is ongoing.

POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
5000 block of 7th Road S., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 26, at approximately 5:23 p.m.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
4000 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on August 31, at approximately 11:30 p.m.
