BURGLARY
1900 block of S. Eads Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:17 p.m. on September 2, police were dispatched to a possible dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was entering her apartment when an unknown suspect forced his way inside. The suspect made threats to the victim and took her cell phone. The victim began to scream and the suspect returned her property before fleeing the scene on foot. Officers canvased the area with negative results. The suspect is described as a heavy set black male, slightly under 6’0” tall, wearing a brightly colored shirt. The investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred at a home or residence on September 14 at approximately 11:00 p.m.

This incident occurred on a highway or road on September 14 at approximately 11:20 p.m.
BURGLARY
1100 block of N. Vernon Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 6:41 p.m. on September 15, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she observed the male suspect allegedly approach the door to the residence and attempt to force entry, causing damage. The suspect attempted to flee on foot prior to police arrival. Officers located the suspect in the area and he was positively identified. David Coleman, 63, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools and Destruction of Property. He was held on no bond.
