1300 block of N. Stafford Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a parking lot or garage at approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 1.

SEXUAL BATTERY
3100 block of Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:08 a.m. on March 3, police were dispatched to the report of a sexual battery. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown male suspect inappropriately touched the female victim inside the bathroom of a business. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” tall, with tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a white t-shirt and denim pants at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
1900 block of Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 11:42 p.m. on March 3, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that as the victim was leaving their residence they observed a male subject exposing himself. A canvas of the area was negative. The subject is described as a brown-skinned male, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
16th Street N at N. Rhodes Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 12:06 a.m. on March 4, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that as the female victim was walking in the area, an unknown suspect grabbed her from behind and began a verbal demand. The victim yelled and shoved the suspect, causing him to flee the area on foot. Responding officers established a perimeter and a canvas of the area was negative. The suspect is described as Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants. The investigation is ongoing.

600 block of N. Glebe Road, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a commercial or office building at approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 5.

AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY
200 block of S. Wayne Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 12:00 p.m. on March 10.

SEXUAL BATTERY
4900 block of 22nd Street N., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 5:37 p.m. on March 13.

OBJECT SEXUAL PENETRATION
2100 block of Washington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at an unknown location at approximately 5:00 p.m. on March 14.

POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
4000 block of Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a military installation at approximately 8:00 p.m. on March 16.

FORCIBLE SODOMY
3400 block of Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 2:00 a.m. on March 18.

SEXUAL BATTERY
Custis Trail at N. Kensington Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 7:37 p.m. on March 18, police were dispatched to the report of a late assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 7 p.m., while the female victim was running on the trail, an unknown male suspect approached her from behind and struck her on the buttocks. The victim turned around and saw the suspect fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a black hat and black shirt. The investigation is ongoing.

OBSCENITY: DISSEMINATE PHOTO/VIDEO TO HARASS
1200 block of N. Veitch Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 10:53 p.m. on March 19.

AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY
4100 block of 4th Street N., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 3:00 p.m. on March 20.

PEEPING
1000 block of N. Cleveland Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 12:58 a.m. on March 26, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim heard noise originating from outside her sliding glass door. Upon investigation, the victim observed a male suspect allegedly attempting to gain entry into the residence. Upon seeing the victim, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Arriving officers broadcast a lookout for the suspect and following a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody. Edwin Ayala Espana, 30, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with Peeping into an Occupied Dwelling, Unlawful Entry and Drunk in Public. He was held on a secured bond.

This incident occurred at a home or residence at approximately 1:00 p.m. on March 26.

PEEPING
2800 block of 9th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 9:08 p.m. on March 26, police were dispatched to the report of a possible peeping tom. Upon arrival, it was determined that the witness observed an unknown suspect looking into the window of a residence. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and officers canvased the area with negative results. The suspect is described as a male, 30-45 years old wearing a dark jacket and black knit cap. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
1800 block of N. Scott Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 6:41 p.m. on March 30, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim witnessed the male suspect masturbating in his vehicle. Based upon the vehicle and suspect description provided by the victim, police were able to develop a possible suspect and requested he return to the scene. Desalegn Alemu, 34, of Woodbridge, VA, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure.
