ABDUCTION WITH INTENT TO DEFILE AND SEXUAL BATTERY
3300 block of Lee Highway, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 10:20 a.m. on January 2, police were dispatched to the report of an assault that had just occurred. Arriving officers located the suspect exiting a room and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined that the victim was cleaning a vacant room within a business when the male suspect allegedly entered the room and locked the door behind him. The victim then attempted to unlock the door, however, the suspect got between her and the door and re-latched it. The victim attempted to unlock the door several more times unsuccessfully. The suspect began to touch the victim inappropriately, then removed his pants, at which time the victim was able to break a window to an exterior hallway outside with a chair and escape the room. She sustained minor injuries during the incident. The suspect, 27, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Abduction with Intent to Defile, Burglary with Intent to Commit Larceny/Assault and Battery, Sexual Battery, and Drunk in Public. He was held on no bond.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
9th Street S. at S. Dinwiddie Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 9:28 a.m. on January 3, police were dispatched to the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her vehicle and honked at the suspect, whose vehicle was blocking an exit to the roadway. The suspect then exited his vehicle and began yelling at the victim. At the request of the victim, the passerby contacted police and confronted the suspect, who returned to his vehicle and flipped up his license plate. The suspect then re-approached the victim and passerby, allegedly exposed himself and fled the area. While investigating this call, police were dispatched to another call for service involving a suspect with a similar description acting disorderly in a parking lot in the 800 block of S. Dickerson Street. The suspect was located, positively identified, and taken into custody without incident. The suspect, 32, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure.

RAPE
2000 block of Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 9, at approximately 1:00 a.m.

POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
2200 block of 12th Court N., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 10, at approximately 7:43 p.m.

PRODUCTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
4700 block of 26th Street N., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 11, at approximately 10:56 a.m.

BURGLARY
2000 block of N. Cleveland Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:54 p.m. on January 15, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard the known suspects banging on the door. The victim began to call police, at which point the suspects forced entry into the residence, destroyed electronics and other household items, assaulted the victim, then fled prior to police arrival. Warrants for Breaking and Entering to Commit Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery, and Destruction of Property were obtained for both suspects.

SEXUAL BATTERY
100 block of N. Wayne Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 17, at approximately 2:30 p.m.

ROBBERY
1200 block of N. Troy Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 7:16 p.m. on January 20, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was attempting to enter her residence when the suspect approached her and grabbed her purse strap. A struggle ensued over the purse, during which the suspect pulled the victim to the ground, dragging her down a set of stairs. The suspect then stole her purse and fled on foot prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’5” and 155 lbs., with curly hair, wearing a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
S. Arlington Mill Drive, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:23 p.m. on January 21, police were dispatched to the late report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1:00 p.m., the victim was walking on the trail in the area of S. Arlington Mill Drive and Tyroll Hills Park when she observed the unknown male suspect touching himself inappropriately. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”, 220 lbs., wearing a gray hoodie, black skull cap, and black and gray pants. The investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred on January 21, at approximately 1:00 p.m.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
400 block of S. Harrison Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 22, at approximately 11:27 a.m.

OBJECT SEXUAL PENETRATION
4600 block of 36th Street S., Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on January 27, at approximately 11:30 p.m.

ROBBERY
5500 block of Columbia Pike, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 12:44 a.m. on January 28, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was obtaining items from her vehicle when she was approached by the suspect, who grabbed her from behind and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s hand. A brief struggle ensued, during which some of the cash fell to the ground. The victim went to pick up the money, at which point the suspect stole additional items from her vehicle then fled prior to police arrival. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hoodie, black hat, black mask, black sweatpants, and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY
2600 block of N. Pershing Drive, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 12:25 a.m. on January 30, police were dispatched to the report of breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 12:20 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry to the residence. When the victim heard noise and called out, the suspect fled prior to police arrival. Nothing was reported missing from the residence. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY
3800 block of 13th Street N., Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:35 a.m. on January 31, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to the victim’s residence unsuccessfully, then fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, with dirty blonde hair, wearing blue jeans, and a dark colored jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
