INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH A CHILD
300 block of N. Garfield Street, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred on a road or highway on January 2 at approximately 5:50 p.m.

PEEPING
3900 block of N. Abingdon Street, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 6:22 a.m. on January 4, officers responded to the report of a man hiding in the bushes of a neighbor’s residence. Upon arrival, an officer observed the suspect on the property. The suspect saw the officer and fled the scene on foot. A brief foot pursuit was initiated but the officer lost sight of the suspect. A perimeter was established and a K9 track was conducted with negative results. The suspect is described as a black male in his early thirties, approximately 5’8”-6’0” tall with a black beard. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue running pants with a white stripe at the time of the incident.

RAPE
3300 block of Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a hotel or motel on January 6 at approximately 11:24 p.m.

PUBLIC MASTURBATION
3200 block of Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a jail or prison on January 7 at approximately 10:30 p.m.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
1400 block of S. George Mason Drive, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 10:07 p.m. on January 17, officers responded to the report of an indecent exposure. A female victim opened a window inside her residence and observed a male subject, several feet from the window, exposing himself. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. He is described as a white male, wearing a blue t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and a dark colored winter hat. The investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred at an elementary or secondary school on January 18 at approximately 9:40 a.m.

CHILD SEX CRIME OR PORNOGRAPHY/USE OF ELECTRONIC MEANS
5500 block of Columbia Pike, Arlington, Virginia
This incident occurred at a home or residence on January 22 at approximately 11:26 p.m.*

BURGLARY
7000 block of Williamsburg Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
At approximately 1:02 p.m. on January 24, officers responded to the report of an attempted burglary. A female victim heard a loud banging noise at her residence and witnessed an unknown male subject attempting to push open a window. The suspect then went to the back of the residence and entered the victim’s screened in porch. Once the suspect observed the victim inside her residence, he fled the area on foot. Officers established a perimeter and a K9 search located a subject matching the description given by the victim. Johnnie Clay Jones, 60, of Springfield VA, was arrested and charged with burglary and possession of burglarious tools. He is being held without bond.

This incident occurred at a home or residence on January 28 at approximately 2:50 a.m.
